Resolution
It is important to know about resolution when working with video and photos. Have you heard the term 1080p or 12 mega pixels. It can all be very confusing but in the end it comes down to 2 numbers. How many PIXELS tall and how many PIXELS wide. What is a PIXEL you ask? It is a dot that can turn any color. The higher the pixel count, the better the resolution and the more detail the image will have. The image below shows the size of various types of media and their respective resolutions. To confuse you even more, the “resolution” image below has a resolution of 580 x 326.
